• Garage Conversion – Ramsey

This project involved converting an existing garage into a fully insulated and modern bedroom space. The garage was completely stripped back to bare blockwork, giving us a clean shell to rebuild properly from the ground up.

The walls and ceiling were fully studded out and insulated with PIR insulation to create a warm, energy-efficient room. The old garage door was removed, new footings were dug, and the opening was blocked up to the correct height to install a new high-performance window. At the rear, we formed a new structural opening for a large sliding patio door, bringing in natural light and improving access to the garden.

To improve access from the main house, we also cut and lintelled a new internal doorway, allowing the new bedroom to be accessed directly without going through the old garage route.

The entire space was then fully rewired to suit the new bedroom layout, preparing it for modern use and future finishes.
